Fox Animated Shows Loaded With Celebs This Fall

Kristen Wiig, Zach Galifianakis, Rachel Maddow and Daniel Radcliffe are among the celebrities lending their voices to a new season of "The Simpsons" this fall on Fox.



Wiig will be heard in the animated show's season premiere on Sept. 29, voicing a high-strung FBI agent whom Lisa enlists for help when she suspects that something sinister has happened to Homer.



Elizabeth Moss of "Mad Men" plays a grateful mom who names her baby after Homer when he helps deliver the child.



Marvel Comics writer Stan Lee, producer Judd Apatow and Will Arnett of "Arrested Development" are among other stars voicing parts on "The Simpsons."

Amanda Bynes Denied Request To Leave Psychiatric Hold

(MTV)—After appearing before a judge on Thursday, Amanda Bynes has been denied the right to leave psychiatric hold, according to a new report.

Bynes' attorney argued that there is no legal basis for the 27-year-old to remain in the hospital because she is not a danger to others and is able to take care of herself, sources close to the situation confirmed to TMZ. During the meeting with the judge, held at the psychiatric facility where she is currently staying, the judge decided that Bynes should stay there.

Bynes was involuntarily committed to a psychiatric ward in California last week after she set a small fire in a stranger's driveway. Bynes was not arrested in the case, later it was reported she is not expected to be charged. But, after initially being placed on a 5150 hold on July 23, it was extended to an additional two weeks on July 26. Read more>>

Ellen DeGeneres Back To Host 2014 Oscars

Television icon Ellen DeGeneres will return to host the Oscars® for a second time, producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced today. The Academy Awards® will be broadcast live on Oscar Sunday, March 2, 2014 on the ABC Television Network.



“We are thrilled to have Ellen DeGeneres host the Oscars,” said Zadan and Meron. “As a longtime friend, we had always hoped to find a project for us to do together, and nothing could be more exciting than teaming up to do the Oscars. There are few stars today who have Ellen's gift for comedy, with her great warmth and humanity. DeGeneres has made a home for herself in daytime with her hit syndicated talk show, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” which has earned a total of 45 Daytime Emmys during its 10 seasons.

David Tennant on Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special: “It is lovely to have returned”

David Tennant has spoken about how happy he was to return for the 50th anniversary special.



In an interview with SFX, he said wasn’t surprised to be asked back: “There is a precedent to this, isn’t there? It has happened a few times down the years so it was never out of the realms of possibility that it would happen for the 50th anniversary.”



He adds: “I was more surprised about how long it took to come through. It actually took quite a long time. There had been a sketchy little conversation about it – and there was a long gap before I got the call. For a long time I was starting to think it was never going to happen – so there was an element of surprise there. But the general concept was something I always expected.”



Asked how it felt to be back in the pinstripe, he said: “Well it is all done – I’ve filmed everything. Now I just have to wait for everyone to see it. But, yes, it is lovely to have returned to something that meant so much to me and that was such a happy time. I am grateful that it was a happy time again. Big Brother 15 Week 5 Spoilers: Drama And An Eviction Prediction

Emotions are running high in the Big Brother house with showmance partners Howard and Candice on the chopping block along with America’s MVP nominee Amanda. The majority of the house is targeting Howard, while the minority would like to send Amanda packing.

SPOILERS:

Spencer has been campaigning for Howard to stay over Candice, but he has also tried to flip some houseguests against Amanda. When Candice got wind of him campaigning against her, she called a house meeting to confront him. She screamed at him to not talk about her and also exposed some of his comments about other houseguests (like him allegedly saying he hoped Amanda would “choke on her own saliva). Spencer denied the accusations.

Candice’s blowup prompted Howard to announce that the house is being controlled by a group of 5 houseguests. He also spoke out against all the lying and drama going on. He said that he would prefer to be evicted if that is the kind of game being played.

All the drama only served to put a bigger target on Candice’s back. Although Aaryn, GinaMarie and Spencer would like to evict Candice before Howard, they don’t seem to be seriously considering trying to flip the house. It’s safer to go along with the majority and send Howard packing. Howard will most likely be evicted tonight.

Mumbai: Beat the monsoon blues as the most adorable and widely popular blue Belgian friends are back to spread their magic on the big screen. Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) is all set to release live action/animated family blockbuster comedy, The Smurfs 2 in 3D on August 2, 2013 in India. The film will be released in English & Hindi in all key metros. It’s a sequel to the 2011 film The Smurfs and based on the characters and works of Belgian comics artist Peyo. In this sequel the friendly blue creatures from mushroom houses promise to entertain their fans withmore mischief and adventure. In this installment Director Raja Gosnell introduces two new characters, the Naughties, Hackus and Vexy.
The film stars Neil Patrick Harris, Brendan Gleeson, Jayma Mays, with Katy Perry as Smurfette and Hank Azaria as Gargamel. Joining the voice cast are Christina Ricci and JB Smoove as Vexy and Hackus.

Ke$ha: 'I Was Born With A Tail"

Pop star Ke$ha has revealed she was born with a "tiny tail".

Ke$ha had a bone sticking out of her back that resembled an animal's tail when she was a baby, but surgeons removed the appendage.

She tells Britain's Heat magazine, "I had a tail when I was born. It was a tiny tail, about a quarter of an inch, then they chopped it off and stole my tail. That was when I was little. I'm really sad about that story."

The 26-year-old singer admits she has grown to embrace her physical flaws, adding, "There are tons of things (I dislike about my body) but I'm at that point right now where I'm trying to accept every little bit of me. Trust me, I don't have the perfect body, but I don't have anything else to work with, so I might as well accept it."
