Lady Gaga To Play Herself in New Movie

Lady Gaga is set to play herself in Matthew Vaughn's new film.



The 'Applause' hitmaker is the latest celebrity being lined up for a cameo in the director's British spy thriller 'The Secret Service', however, unlike Taylor Swift and David Beckham - who have been rumoured for parts in the film - Gaga is expected to play an exaggerated version of herself.



A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Gaga only had to commit one day to film her scenes early next year. She's such an Anglophile she didn't take much persuading.''



The 27-year-old pop star is the latest big name linked to a cameo in the movie, joining David, 38, Taylor, 23, Adele, 25, and Sir Elton John, 66.



'The Secret Service', which is based on a graphic novel by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, will follow Colin Firth as a suave secret agent who is tasked with teaching the tricks of the trade to his young protégé.



Samuel L. Jackson will play the movie's villain.



Singer Gaga has been stretching her talents across the film world after landing her debut acting role in Robert Rodriguez's dark action movie 'Machete Kills', which is due for release later this year.



The 'Poker Face' star plays gun-toting vixen La Chameleon in the film, which sees her act alongside Jessica Alba, Charlie Sheen and Sofia Vergara.



Gaga also filmed a cameo for next year's 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For', and co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt recently said she ''nailed'' the performance.

Robert Pattinson: I'm the Only Actor in Hollywood Without a Six-Pack

Robert Pattinson is one of Hollywood’s reigning hunks, but the self-deprecating actor doesn’t think much of his physique and could never be accused of working out obsessively like so many other actors. The good news is, he’s thinking about hitting the gym.



Rob, 27, had several shirtless scenes in the “Twilight” film saga, although he candidly admits that his prominent abs were spray-painted on for some of those.



And, he says he probably pays a price for not being in the best shape.



“I think I don’t get some jobs because I don’t go to the gym,” he tells the Arabian edition of Harper’s Bazaar in a new interview. “I am literally the only actor in LA who doesn’t have a six-pack,” he says. “Although I am going to have to change that.”



His post-roles “Twilight,” roles are increasingly involving intimate scenes, and that’s providing the motivation to hit the gym.



“In my next film I have like three intimate scenes so I am literally thinking of those to get in shape,” he explains. But it won’t change his aversion to exercising.

Former Heavyweight Champion Boxer Tommy Morrison Dies at Age 44

Former world heavyweight champion boxer Tommy Morrison has died, according to one of his former promoters.



Tony Holden said Monday that Morrison, who won one of his titles in Kansas City, died Sunday night at an Omaha, Neb., hospital. Morrison, who was born in Arkansas and grew up in Oklahoma before moving to Kansas City, was 44.



“It’s true,” said Holden, who lives in Tulsa, told the Tulsa World. “He was with his wife, Trisha, when he passed.”



“You prepare for things like this,” Holden told ESPN, “and still you feel like you got hit by a truck when you hear the news.”



Morrison’s family has not commented and an official cause of death has not been released. Diana Morrison, who lives in Aurora, Mo., told ESPN last month that her son was “in the end stages” from full-blown AIDS.



In Feb. 1996, Morrison was suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission after it said he tested positive for HIV.



But 10 years later, Morrison attempted a comeback, telling The Star that a person can’t contract HIV from heterosexual sex and that the virus was a plot to control population. He said he was HIV free.



“You can look at me like I’m crazy if you want … It’s a latent virus that your body will get rid of on its own if you exercise and eat right,” Morrison told The Star in 2006. “It’s disappeared from my body twice where they can’t find the antibodies.”

Clint Eastwood and wife Dina Separate, Report Says

Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood and his wife Dina have reportedly separated after 17 years of marriage.



Reality TV star Dina confirmed the news on Thursday, telling Us Weekly magazine she and her husband remain close but they have been living apart for some time.



When contacted about the reports, filmmaker Eastwood's representative said, "I know nothing about that."



The split news comes just four months after Dina reportedly checked into a rehabilitation clinic to tackle personal issues.



She and Clint married in 1996 and have one daughter together, 16-year-old Morgan, who appeared with her mother and half-sister Francesca in reality TV show, Mrs. Eastwood & Company, which aired last year.



This is Eastwood's second union - he was married to first wife Maggie Johnson for almost 30 years before they divorced in 1984.

Robert Pattinson Makes Secret Visit To Kids' Hospital

Robert Pattinson thrilled fans by showing up unannounced at a children's hospital in Los Angeles last week.



The Twilight hunk stunned young patients in the Teen Lounge at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles on 16 August when he arrived on a visit, which had been kept secret by hospital staff.



The star sat with patients and painted picture frames, posed for pictures, and visited two young fans with cystic fibrosis who were unable to leave their rooms.



Hospital staff member Ana Vega says, "Robert was so nervous about meeting the kids - he didn't want to let them down - which is a testament to how humble he is.



"He was incredibly gracious and kind. He will probably never fully understand what a huge lift he gave to these kids today, and how it will positively impact them over the long term."

'Kick-Ass' Creator Defends Violence in Sequel

The creator/producer of the film 'Kick-Ass' has defended the level of violence in the sequel, insisting movies cannot be blamed for influencing real life gun crimes.



The movie, which features Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloe Grace Moretz as crime-fighting youngsters, has been mired in controversy ever since one of its stars, Jim Carrey, announced he would not be supporting it in the aftermath of a school shooting in Connecticut last year.



Carrey's protest came amid swirling debate over whether violence onscreen has an impact in the real world and calls for the tightening of arms laws, but Kick-Ass creator Mark Millar is adamant films have nothing to do with gun crime.



He tells Britain's Daily Record newspaper, "I don't equate gun crime with movies. I equate crime with guns. In the U.K. and U.S. we see all the same movies but gun crimes are a thousand times more in the U.S. because there are guns ­available."



Carrey has become a vocal advocate of changing America's gun laws following a spate of shootings, including the Sandy Hook school massacre in December when 20 young children and six adults were murdered.

Exclusive Interview: Remembering Star Trek Icon DeForest Kelley With Author Kristine M. Smith

   There aren't many 60's Star Trek The Original Series fans who don't already know author Kristine M. Smith. For those who don't, Smith has an enduring, unusual Star Trek connection. Kristine first met DeForest Kelley (Doctor McCoy) in 1968 just before her senior year in high school began. Smith and a classmate drove to Wenatchee, Washington simply to watch the actor pass by in the Apple Blossom Festival Parade but ended up parking (fatefully) near the Kelley's hotel. As she explains it: "I spotted the white car with his name and Star Trek on it and figured if we loitered shamelessly,  maybe we would actually have a chance to meet him, not just watch him go by!"



Smith met DeForest Kelley and his wife Carolyn that day then went home and wrote an essay about her experience. Her high school English teacher was so impressed with the essay that she insisted Smith send it to Mr. Kelley, which she did (hesitantly but obediently). Little did she know that her story would be published in a national celebrity magazine and that it would open the door to a 30-year plus association with the Kelleys—with Smith eventually serving as DeForest's personal assistant and caregiver at the end of his life.



As an author Smith has penned seven books including two on Kelley: DeForest Kelley: A Harvest of Memories (Sept. 2001)which explored her friendship with the couple and how it changed her life. The book also recounts the actor's final weeks (Cancer claimed him on June 11, 1999). Smith has recently revised and enhanced the book with scores of never-before seen and rarely-before-seen photos, now titled DeForest Kelley Up Close and Personal: A Harvest of Memories from the Fan who Knew Him Best. Her other Kelley tome is an eBook: DeForest Kelley: Actor Healer, Friend, a recounting of the many ways in which Kelley touched the lives of other fans around the world.



Smith was voted into the 2012-2013 edition of "50 Great Writers You Should be Reading". In this exclusive interview, The Mac Wire catches up with the author  about her time with the Kelleys, her updated book, and various other writing projects.

From what I read you have been writing self-help and animal books most recently. How did it come about that you wrote the first book on DeForest?



De launched my writing career. He submitted my first national article for publication when I was 18. And he gave me permission to write a book about him so I wanted my first book to be about how he "raised" me from a timid, uncertain writer to a more confident, robust individual and human. The funny thing is that I probably never would have written it had not De's biographer, Terry Rioux, asked me a question I couldn't answer! She asked me, "How did you go from being a fan on the outmost reaches of fandom to being at his bedside when he died?" I told her, "That's something you would have had to ask De. I honestly have no idea how that happened." She refused the response. She said, "You know the answer. You just have to connect the dots." That's when I remembered that I had been writing journals all my life, and had documented every interaction we ever had--in person, by mail, and on the phone. So I dove into my past and connected the dots! And wow...there were so many incidents and anecdotes that I had entirely forgotten about! It's SO important to keep journals. One day you'll be able to look back over your life and see how far you've come!"




How different is this revised edition?

 I'm a better writer than I was twelve years ago (since I've been a professional copywriter since January 2007) so I've gone carefully through and enhanced the original manuscript to make it more succinct, concise and compelling. My publisher (who is also an author) has gone through it, too. It's a faster read and the end times (De's hospital days) are truncated considerably. The fans who bought the first version and loved it will love it even more for the following reasons:

The enhancement version has lots of additional photos of the notes, letters and other artifacts that are in my Kelley archives. So this new edition will feel almost like sitting on a couch beside me as we go through my many memories of De. There will also be a bibliography with links to places online where people can see De and/or me in action at conventions, during interviews, and the like. 

Why do it now? My publisher wanted to get this ready in advance of the 15th anniversary of De's passing (June 11, 2014) and Star Trek's 50th anniversary (Sept 8, 2016), so that's why we're doing it now.



 How did working with DeForest Kelley change your life?

    I didn't work with De until he fell ill and was confined to a hospital the last few months of his life. He kept his illness a secret from me for as long as he could because I was going through my mother's terminal illness up until five months before he finally let me know his status. I'm sure he did that to protect me from feeling torn between two very great needs; he didn't want to burden me further. In fact, all through mom's illness, De sent mom notes, cards and candy to help keep her spirits up, even though I soon learned that he was facing the same fate!



I can't even imagine how tough that must have been for you. First your mom and then De.

   What I learned from working with De and mom those last few months was that terminally ill people want to live until they die; some want to talk about their eventual demise, others don't. They remain the fun, delightful, thoughtful people they always were. At least, this was my experience with these two individuals. Everyone is different, I'm sure, depending on how willing they are to 'own' their fates and gracefully (or not so gracefully) embrace it without undue fear or angst.



I never realized how loved he was by Star Trek fans. I never met him. I was fortunate enough to interview Leonard (Nimoy) and Bill (Shatner) years ago. That was fun. The one thing I remember reading about DeForest was that the was close to his mother and always held hands with his wife. I thought how sweet is that! For our younger readers who may not know DeForest Kelley, what kind of person was he?

   De was gentle, fun, sassy, funny, astute, quiet, low-key, laid-back and utterly, utterly charming... by nature, not by artifice. He was a good-hearted prankster—none of his pranks were mean-spirited; all were meant to bring a smile. Hey, I wrote a whole book about this! You'll be able to hold it in your hands soon. When you do, you'll get to meet and know the DeForest Kelley I knew—and you will never, ever be the same, any more than I will for having known him.




I was pretty touched when I read how at one point you became the Kelley's fulltime caretaker. I can't even imagine how hard that must have been. I remember when he passed away; I was very sad and said a prayer. What life lessons have you learned from that experience?

  Working with De also changed my life because I finally understood, to the bone, that he really did trust me; you don't invite known people into your life, home and hospital in your final weeks and months unless you feel awfully confident they will be able to handle what's coming and keep you comfortable and as upbeat as possible during the process. Being able to help him was more blessing to me than it was to him, I firmly believe, because I finally understood that the Kelley's had real affection for me and weren't just being kind to a fan all those years. (I'm not one to accept affection or love without question. It takes some doing for me to "get it." But that's a topic for another book, lol!)

  We all have an expiration date. Remember it but don't dwell on it. Life gets more precious the less you realize you have of it. Don't dwell on the end--dwell on what you can do today to bless, love and care for loved ones. If someone needs your help at the end of their lives, give it, no matter how scared or unsettled you feel about doing it. The experience will bless you far more than you will bless them. You'll come to understand and embrace the 'final frontier' in ways that are no longer theoretical but practical and truly of immense service. You bet it's sad and it's scary, because it's so real, but it's something we all will face unless we're hit by a Mack Truck or die in our sleep without any warning. It's only as scary as you make it out to be. It can be utterly transformative to embrace the inevitable.

Live 'til you die, no matter what your prognosis or diagnosis. Have fun.

Mary Anne, you’re killing me!  I’ve written a book about a wild cat I once owned! If I could tell only ‘a little bit’ about each of these subjects, they would have been essays or articles, not entire books! LOL!

Photos of Marilyn Monroe's Last Sitting For Sale

A rare portfolio of photographs from Marilyn Monroe's last sitting is up for grabs to the highest bidder.

Freeman's auction house in Philadelphia says the limited-edition portfolio of 10 photos goes on the block Sept. 10. The photos were made from fashion photographer Bert Stern's original negatives from his June 1962 assignment for Vogue.

Monroe died six weeks later.

The head of the century-old auction house's photography division says the photos will be on view starting Sept. 6. The auction house estimates the portfolio could fetch $10,000 to $15,000.

Stern took more than 2,500 photos of the Hollywood icon over three days at Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. The 20-by-20-inch portfolio photos are from the first day.

Sony Pictures Entertainment to release ‘The Smurfs 2’

Get ready for the true blue Sumrfmania! Sony Pictures Entertainment to release ‘The Smurfs 2’ on August 2.

Mumbai: Beat the monsoon blues as the most adorable and widely popular blue Belgian friends are back to spread their magic on the big screen. Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) is all set to release live action/animated family blockbuster comedy, The Smurfs 2 in 3D on August 2, 2013 in India. The film will be released in English & Hindi in all key metros. It’s a sequel to the 2011 film The Smurfs and based on the characters and works of Belgian comics artist Peyo. In this sequel the friendly blue creatures from mushroom houses promise to entertain their fans withmore mischief and adventure. In this installment Director Raja Gosnell introduces two new characters, the Naughties, Hackus and Vexy.
The film stars Neil Patrick Harris, Brendan Gleeson, Jayma Mays, with Katy Perry as Smurfette and Hank Azaria as Gargamel. Joining the voice cast are Christina Ricci and JB Smoove as Vexy and Hackus.

'Lone Ranger' Will Be A Great Movie in 10 Years, Producer Says

Hollywood mega-producer Jerry Bruckheimer has defended The Lone Ranger after it proved a flop with film fans, insisting it will be considered a great movie in the years to come.

Director Gore Verbinski's modern reimagining of the Wild West tale, featuring Armie Hammer as the masked lawman and Johnny Depp as his trusted sidekick Tonto, bombed when it earned just $29.4 million at the U.S. box office on its opening weekend earlier this month.

The movie also failed to impress the critics, but Bruckheimer is adamant its detractors will look back on it with fondness in years to come -- like his 1983 dance classic Flashdance.

He said, "It reminds me of a critic who called Flashdance a 'toxic dump'. Ten years later (the critic) said, 'This is really a good movie. I missed it.' I think (The Lone Ranger is) going to be looked back on as a brave, wonderful film."

Box Office: "The Wolverine" Tops With $55 Million Debut; Plus "Despicable Me 2" Crosses $300 Million Mark

Sometimes even earning the No. 1 spot can be seen as a modest disappointment, or at least that’s what the new narrative around The Wolverine (CinemaScore: A-) would have you believe.



With no competition this weekend, The Wolverine pulled in about $55 million domestically in 3,924 locations — on target with studio estimates, but far below tracking projections, some of which went so far as to predict an $80 million weekend. With the majority of screens showing the Fox tentpole in 3-D, the movie averaged about $14,016 per screen on an estimated budget of $120 million, so this weekend’s performance is really nothing to scoff at. Interestingly, at $55 million, the film is right in line with 2011′s X-Men: First Class which made $55.1 million in its first three days at the box office in early June. But so far The Wolverine is holding steady as the second lowest opening of all of Fox’s six X-Men movies — that title goes to the first in the series which opened at $54.5 million. But X-Men was also released 13 years ago with no 3-D surcharges, so it’s not an entirely fair comparison.



The Wolverine opened internationally this weekend as well to grosses of $86.1 million, playing on 15,152 screens in 101 territories, bringing its worldwide total to about $141.1 million. Fox estimates that audiences were about 58 percet male, and 42 percent under the age of 25. Read more>>

Elton John Lined Up For Cameo in "The Secret Service" Film

Sir Elton John is being cast for a cameo role in Matthew Vaughn's new comic book adaptation of 'The Secret Service', in a bid to turn it into a franchise.



The singer would feature as a hardman bashing bad guys in a huge fight scene.



A source told the Sun that the film is going to be a big British movie so Matthew wants to include some iconic British stars.



Brit star Colin Firth has already signed up to play the uncle of the main character - a young tearaway who is recruited by Colin into spy school.



Sir Michael Caine will also be starring, playing a veteran agent.



The original comics by Mark Millar will features cameos by stars like Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill and renowned director Ridley Scott.

Superman And Batman Movie Headed Your Way In 2015!

  In case you missed it.... More exciting news from Comic-Con. Should be interesting. 

Something super this way comes: Batman and Superman will team up on the big screen for a movie in 2015, Warner Bros. announced this afternoon at San Diego Comic-Con.



"Man of Steel" director Zack Snyder took the stage for a surprise announcement at the tail end of the joint Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures preview panel.



"There's been a lot of speculation about what we're doing," he said, after thanking fans for their support. "It is official that we are going to make another Superman movie."







"You guys may ask what is the movie about," he teased. "The truth is you don't want me to tell you what the movie is about, right?"



He called Harry Lennix, who played General Swanwick in "Man of Steel," to the stage for the big reveal, because "his voice is just way better than mine." Lennix took to a spotlit podium to read a passage from "The Dark Knight Falls," a scene in which Batman has just tangled with Superman.



"I want you to remember, Clark," Lennix read. "In all the years to come, and all your most private moments, I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you." Read more>>

A&E Indie Films Partners with Mike Myers on His Directorial Debut SUPERMENSCH

   

Okay, now this peaks my interest.  Any  fan of 70s rock music and more notably, Alice Cooper knows the name Shep Gordon. For those of you who don't know, he  is the Coop's longtime  manager and good friend.  Hey, he and Alice were always cool to me whenever I needed  an interview or a quick quote  for a story or two.   I can't wait to see when this documentary  airs on A&E as it is also Myers directorial debut which makes it  even more interesting to me. Personal friends with the Dalai Lama through his philanthropic endeavors with the Tibet Fund and the guardian of four children, Gordon’s unlikely story will be told by those who know him best, his pals, including Alice Cooper, Michael Douglas, Sylvester Stallone, Anne Murray, Willie Nelson, Emeril Lagasse and more.

"I met Shep Gordon in 1991 on the set of Wayne's World. I thought he was a perfect combination of Brian Epstein, Marshall McLuhan and Mr Magoo. I've been trying to get Shep to agree to let me make a movie about him for 10 years. Last year he finally he said yes. I loved him like a brother before we started making this film and now having sifted through his life and his legacy, I love him even more" said Myers.

“We are excited by the passion Mike Myers has brought to this project,” said Bob DeBitetto, President of A+E Studios. “Shep Gordon is known throughout Hollywood as the nicest guy to know and the epitome of friendship in an industry devoid of genuine friends - but to hear Mike say it, he’s a Supermensch.”

Supermensch is produced and directed by Mike Myers. Bob DeBitetto, David McKillop and Molly Thompson will serve as executive producers for A&E IndieFilms.

No Word on 3rd 'X-Files' Film From Series Creator, Chris Carter

The truth is out there: Don't expect a third "X-Files" film.



While series creator Chris Carter was suitably impressed by a boisterous and enthusiastic Comic-Con International crowd clamoring for a third big-screen venture, he remained decidedly noncommittal on the idea.



"We can get to it later," Carter said Thursday, when asked of the possibility at a panel celebrating the Fox series' 20th anniversary. The panel also featured stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, along with writers and producers.



It was not the answer the crowd was seeking about the fate of FBI agents Dana Scully and Fox Mulder. But those in the audience — including several who had camped out overnight to ensure good seats for the hour-long event — were in a forgiving mood, listening raptly as tales of the show were traded.



"The X-Files," a popular Fox television series, ran from 1993 to 2002 and spawned a pair of feature films.



But the future of the show's big-screen franchise remains as murky as the alien black oil that featured prominently in the popular Fox television series.



While Carter was cool to the proposition of a third "X-Files" film, Duchovny and Anderson were decidedly more amenable.



"I always thought whenever we can come back together, we would, as much as we can, so we will," Duchovny said.



Asked if the show should return to television, a la "24," Anderson replied "No!" then added, "but a film would be great."



Carter noted that the series — now a comic book from IDW Publishing dubbed Season — could find resonance in contemporary times.



"The suspicions and the conspiracy theories are rampant today, so I think that if 'The X-Files' were to come back now, you could do the show now," Carter said.

Johnny Depp Heading Back to Wonderland Without Tim Burton

Johnny Depp is set to reprise his role as the Mad Hatter in a sequel to Alice in Wonderland, but he will be returning without his longtime collaborator Tim Burton.



The Hollywood actor took on the wacky role opposite Mia Wasikowska as Alice in the Lewis Carroll adaptation, which broke the $1 billion mark at the international box office following its release in 2010.



Movie bosses are working on a sequel, and it has now emerged Depp is set to return but director Burton will be replaced with The Muppets' James Bobin, according to Deadline.com.



It is not yet known if Wasikowska will reprise her role as Alice.



Burton has worked with Depp on numerous films over the years, including Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Dark Shadows.

Jim Carrey Apologises For Lashing Out at Weapons Rights Defenders

(Los Angeles)—Actor Jim Carrey, who spoke out against gun violence after a series of deadly shootings in the United States in 2012, apologised to assault weapon rights defenders on Monday.



Carrey had tweeted a series of insults at gun owners and gun rights supporters, mainly after a gun massacre at a Newtown Connecticut school that killed 26 people including 20 children last December.



"Any1 who would run out to buy an assault rifle after the Newtown massacre has very little left in their body or soul worth protecting," Carrey tweeted in February.



And in March, he tweeted: "154 BULLETS FIRED AT SANDY HOOK! 2 handguns n a bushmaster rifle on Lanza. 1600 rnds of amo at his house. WE MUST STOP THIS!!"



Despite an outpouring of anguish across America over the school shooting, the US Congress voted against passing new gun control measures earlier this year. And on Monday, Carrey took a different tack on the issue.



"Asslt rifle fans, I do not agree wth u,nor do I fear u but I do love u and I'm sorry tht in my outrage I called you names.That was wrong," the Canadian-born US actor said in a Twitter posting.



Minutes later, Carrey added "Btw I don't need a crisis mgr, just a conscience. Calling ppl names is inappropriate but my position on assault weapons hasn't changed."



Last month, the actor, 51, said he would not take part in promoting his new film "Kick-Ass 2" saying that after the Newtown shooting, in hindsight, it appeared too violent to him.

Matt Damon Doesn't Envy Super Famous Brad Pitt

Matt Damon pities his pal Brad Pitt because the intense paparazzi attention he attracts prevents the Hollywood star from enjoying the small things in life - like walking his kids to school.

The pair has become firm friends since co-starring in the Ocean's Eleven franchise, but while the Bourne Identity actor has managed to raise his children away from the spotlight, Pitt and his fiancee Angelina Jolie often have to contend with hordes of snappers every time they step out with their brood of six - and it's the one side of fame Damon is grateful to do without.

He tells Esquire magazine, "If you can control the celebrity side of celebrity, then it (being super famous) is worth it.

"I look at Brad - and I have for years - and when I'm with him I see the intensity of that other side of it. And the paparazzi and the insane level of aggression they have and their willingness to break the law and invade his space - well, I wonder about that trade. I remember telling him that I walk my kids to school, and his face just fell. He was very kind, but he was like, 'You b**tard'. Because he should be able to do that, too. And he can't."

And Damon insists finding love with former bartender Luciana Barroso helped him to remain low-key outside of work because she is not involved in the entertainment industry.

He says, "I got lucky, I fell in love with a civilian. Not an actress and not a famous actress at that. Because then the attention doesn't double - it grows exponentially. Because then suddenly everybody wants to be in your bedroom.

"But I don't really give them anything (to report on). If I'm not jumping up and down on a bar, or lighting something on fire, or cheating on my wife, there's not really any story to tell. They can try to stake me out, but they're always going to get the same story - middle-aged married guy with four kids. So as long as that narrative doesn't change too much, there's no appetite for it."
