The Voice Season 5: Cher, Ed Sheeran, Miguel, Ryan Tedder Officially Named Advisers

The final pieces of the puzzle have been set into place for Season 5 of"The Voice," with the revelation that two of the hottest one-name acts in music are coming aboard to advise Blake Shelton and CeeLo Green's teams.

NBC announced on Monday (Sept. 9) that Green has enlisted the talents of Grammy-nominated singer Miguel to mentor his team during the Battle Rounds, while Shelton has landed someone you may have heard of -- Cher. The two join previously announced advisers Ryan Tedder (working with Adam Levine)and Ed Sheeran (working with Christina Aguilera).

"This group of wildly successful musicians will add their distinctive talents to their respective teams" Paul Telegdy, NBC's late night and alternative programming president said in a statement. "I know Christina, Adam, CeeLo and Blake are very much looking forward to having them come aboard."

Cher On Her Long Awaited Return To The Stage: I'm a Chicken!"

Considering she’s one of the foremost fashion and music icons in the world, we doubt very much that Cher is, as she describes herself, “a chicken”. But, talking to The Hollywood Reporter, the 67-year-old admitted how scared she was at taking to the stage for the first time in over a decade.

The legendary singer was performing at The Voice finale, showing off a new track from her upcoming album. "It's the first time I've been onstage or singing live -- the last time I think was with Tina [Turner] and I think that was about five or seven years ago," she explains. "And before that -- I can't even remember the last time I was on TV before that." Needless to say, she belted out Woman's World - off her upcoming album, Closer to the Truth – with the kind of audacity and aplomb that launched her to stardom, but that’s not to say there weren’t any butterflies. "It's very exciting and it makes you feel elated, but it's also kind of scary. And I'm a big chicken  anyway," she added.

Closer to the Truth, which will be hitting stores on September 24, is Cher’s first album since 2002's Living Proof. "I actually did a couple of different things in this album," she says. "I ventured into places I haven't gone and I really enjoyed that. I kind of took some chances in this album and then when they turned out to be good, I was really happy."

Blake Shelton’s Contestant Danielle Bradbery Wins The Voice

On Tuesday’s season finale of The Voice, 16-year-old Texas native Danielle Bradbery beat Michelle Chamuel and the Swon Brothers for the winning title. Bradbery was so emotional after her win that she struggled to finish her final performance on The Voice stage.

"I don't even know right now. I'm so thankful. I'm sorry … I'm speechless," she said.

Earlier in the night, Bradbery praised her coach Blake Shelton for his guidance throughout the season. "You're an amazing coach and you're an amazing person," she said. "You taught me so much and I'm so thankful to have you in my life and I love you so much."

This is Shelton’s third Voice win – his contestants Jermaine Paul and Cassadee Pope won season 2 and season 3 respectively.

"I think it's the most important win we have had so far on The Voice because Danielle is the first winner of The Voice that had no professional experience in the past," he told People magazine on Tuesday. "Her biggest performances ever were for her family at Thanksgiving."

"People are just wrapped around her finger for a reason," Shelton added. "God sprinkled just a little bit more on Danielle Bradbery than he did the rest of us and I'm just glad to call her a friend."
