James Gandolfini’s Will Filed In Manhattan, Actor Leaves Majority Of Fortune To His Children

The will of James Gandolfini was filed in Manhattan Surrogate's Court on Tuesday about two weeks after the actor’s sudden death in Rome. The Sopranos star left the majority of his $70 million fortune to his wife, Deborah Lin, and two children, 13-year-old Michael and 9-month-old Liliana. He also left millions to his two sisters and smaller portions of money to close friends, godchildren and nieces.



Gandolfini specifically gave Michael all of his clothes, jewelry, and a NYC condo. The inheritance will be protected in trust fund until Michael turns 21. Michael will also share equal ownership of his father’s Italian property with his half-sister Liliana when the 9-month-old turns 25.



"It is my hope and desire that they will continue to own said property and keep it in our family for as long as possible," Gandolfini wrote.



The will was signed on December 19, 2012.



Gandolfini died of a heart attack on June 16. He was 51-years-old.

Hallmark Channel Cancels Marie Osmond's Talk Show

The Hallmark Channel has pulled the plug on Marie Osmond's talk show.



In a statement Tuesday, the TV channel said it won't renew "Marie" for a second season.



The show's producer and distributor, Associated Television International, said that "Marie" was going into syndication as originally intended. A fall 2014 launch is planned, the company said.



Hallmark said it wants to go in a different direction in daytime: It's decided that so-called lifestyle shows offering how-to tips are a better option on TV and online.



The channel said it expected Osmond to find "great success" in bringing her talk show to syndication.



She'll find a competitive field, which currently includes veteran Ellen DeGeneres and newcomers Katie Couric and Steve Harvey. Kris Jenner is also launching her own talk show later this month, and Bethenny Frankel's will premiere in the fall.



New and repeat episodes of "Marie" will air on Hallmark through September.



"Marie" has drawn interest from groups and key stations and will be made available to several outlets nationwide, said Jim Romanovich, Associated Television International's president, worldwide entertainment. He did not specify the outlets.

Cher, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Pitbull to perform on 'Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular'

NBC just added Cher, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Pitbull to its lineup of performers on the "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular" airing Thursday at 8 p.m. ET with an encore at 10 p.m.



They join previously announced performers Mariah Carey ("American Idol") and country singer Tim McGraw. Carey's husband, "America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon, will host the two-hour special.



Cher also recently performed on the season finale of NBC's "The Voice" and appeared on sister cable network Bravo's late night talk show, "Watch What Happens Live." Her upcoming album, "Woman's World," is out on September 24.



Swift is currently touring North America in support of her album, "Red." Gomez is promoting her newly released album, "Stars Dance," and is set to start a tour in August. Pitbull's single with Christina Aguilera, "Feel This Moment," is a Top 10 hit.



With more than 40,000 fireworks, the show is the largest pyrotechnics display in the United States. This year, Usher ("The Voice") will lend his artistic vision to the show as its first superstar collaboration.

Cher Tries to Mentor Fans

Cher tries to mentor her younger fans via social media.



The 'Strong Enough' singer says she feels like a mother to her 1.6 million Twitter followers and tries to set a good example by posting positive messages.



She told E! News: "It's a rough time in history for kids. Sex didn't kill you when I was young and people weren't trying to blow up buildings.



"I feel a lot of compassion for these young kids that are growing up that don't really understand exactly what's going on. It's really rough. That's why I do a lot of tweeting...I feel kind of like a mother. It's something that gives them a little insight into things and it doesn't make them think that all grownups are the enemy."



Cher, 67, also opened up about her recent spat with troubled starlet Amanda Bynes, 27, and revealed why she decided to apologize to the 'Easy A' actress even though she called Cher "ugly and a flop".



She explained: "I never understood the thing about not saying you're sorry because it's so easy...it doesn't take any time and it just dissolves all the bad feelings. It just lets it go, and we can't hold on to that kind of stuff. It makes you sick."

Longtime Cirque Du Soleil Performer Dies In Fall During Ka Performance

A Cirque Du Soleil veteran performer died Saturday night during a performance of Ka at MGM Grand. The performer has been identified as 31-year-old mother of two Sarah Guyard-Guillot.

Guyard-Guillot, who had more than 2 decades of experience in acrobatic and aerial performance, fell 50 feet to her death after slipping out of a safety wire as she was being raised up to the vertical stage. She was rushed to University Medical Center where she was pronounced dead at 11:43 p.m.

“Initially, a lot of people in the audience thought it was part of the [show],” said witness Dan Mosqueda. “But you could hear screaming, then groaning, and we could hear a female artist crying from the stage.”

"The entire Cirque du Soleil family is deeply saddened by the accidental death. The artist’s immediate family has been informed of the accident. Our thoughts are with her family and the entire Cirque du Soleil family,” the organization said in a statement.

Founder Guy Laliberté said he is “heartbroken” by Guyard-Guillot’s death and noted that she “was an artist with the original cast of Ka since 2006 and has been an integral part of our Cirque du Soleil tight family.” “We are reminded, with great humility and respect, how extraordinary our artists are each and every night. Our focus now is to support each other as a family,” he added.

Saturday night’s show was canceled immediately after Guyard-Guillot’s fall and the audience was given the option to obtain a refund or a voucher to a future show. All Ka show times have been canceled.
